Consular Outreach in the North
Good news to all Pinoyz in the north!

On the 3rd of September 2011, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm the Philippine Embassy will conduct a consular outreach program in Chiangmai and then again on the 4th of September 2011, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in Chiang Rai. Two provinces this year to basically attend the needs of other Pinoys who can't make on one of the dates mentioned.

The embassy is encouraging all the Filipinos in neighboring provinces to avail the program that usually knocks once a year. This is a good opportunity to alleviate the costs of traveling to Bangkok and back.

Here is the list of the consular services taken from the website of the Philipine Embassy in Bangkok.

1. Passports (application for new, and renewal of expiring, passports);
2. Legalization of documents, including reports of civil registry documents such as report of birth, report of marriage, and report of death;
3. Processing of applications for dual citizenship; and
4. Issuance of Filipino Registration (Embassy) IDs.
