Strong quake jolts Negros-Cebu; tsunami alert lifted

One person was reported killed as a 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit both the island provinces of Cebu and Negros before noon today, making government volcanologists to raise tsunami alert. PHIVOLCS warned residents near the coast to seek higher grounds.

Reports also said that during the course of the quake, residents of Cebu started to panic, running to different establishments. When i heard about the news, i immediately sent a message to my cousin who was online. She said that Visayas suffered the strongest. Let's all pray that our fellow Pinoys be spared from any danger.
