Commending Philippine Embassy in Thailand

The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok is doing everything in its power to make Filipinos in Thailand feel the spirit of Christmas even miles away from home. Thailand as we know it is a Buddhist country. Therefore, Christmas isn't celebrated by Thais with so much gusto the way we do.

For the record, the embassy recently joined the Christmas party of Filipinos in Korat, had their own party for Pinoys at the embassy's premises in Bangkok, accepted the donation of the Royal Thai Army to the victims of typhoon Pablo, and decorated its building with "parols" and other Christmas decors. Truly, even Christmas isn't celebrated here the way we do back home, acts such as these can make other people's faces light up. One way or another, we are also introducing to the Thai populace that Pinoys celebration of the Yuletide season is the longest and merriest in the world.

I'm pretty sure there will be other activities the embassy will organize to help and reach Filipinos especially with Christmas being just around the corner. Kudos to you, guys! More power and of course, Merry Christmas!
