Miss Philippines named as first runner-up

“For me, being Miss Universe is not just about knowing how to speak a specific language. It’s being able to influence and inspire other people. So whatever language you have, as long as your heart is to serve and you have a strong mind to show to people, then you can be Miss Universe.”

That's how our very own Miss Janine Togonon confidently answered Nigel Barker when asked if speaking English should be a prerequisite to being Miss Universe as an international ambassador during the Q&A portion of the recently concluded Miss Universe 2012. She's the only Asian beauty included on the top ten and was crowned the first runner-up, while 20 year-old cellist Olivia Culpo of USA won the title.

Other winners are Miss Venezuela, Irene Sofia Esser Quintero who was second runner-up. Miss Australia Renae Ayris was awarded the third runner-up and Miss Brazil Gabriela Markus is crowned as the fourth runner-up.

You know what, this isn't about me being a Filipino, too. But judging Miss Togonon's answer (although I'm not a judge lol) and the photos circulating online this very moment, who do you think is endowed with natural beauty, or more stunning to simply put it?
