No visa needed for Pinoys wishing to see Jeju Island in Korea

The Korea Tourism Organization is inviting Filipinos to visit Jeju Island, a UNESCO-distinguished haven in Korea.

Japan is known to be notoriously strict on its visa requirements. It is therefore not surprising when the news about its move of easing up visa requirements for Filipinos a few weeks ago were shared by many on social networking sites. After all, Japan is one of the countries many Filipinos want to visit.

Another Asian country is opening up for Filipinos. Just like Japan, Korea is also a top place to visit by Filipinos, thanks to Korean dramas which made huge impact to the Philippines and continue to leave good impressions to the heart of Filipino populace.
No visa necessary for Pinoys who'd like to see the beauty of Jeju, a volcanic island in the Korean peninsula. It was declared one of the world's "New 7 Wonders of Nature" as well as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 2002, World Natural Heritage Site in 2007, and World Geoparks Network in 2010

With its untouched beauty, the government declared it a protected area. And with its picturesque beauty, perhaps now's the time to save for plane tickets?
