Thai people pray for the King's fast recovery

Thailand's much-revered and world's longest reigning monarch, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, was admitted on Friday night at Siriraj Hospital due to high fever. His blood was later tested and showed he had an infection.

The Royal Household Bureau released an official statement on Saturday, saying His Majesty's fever had already subsided, and he's gaining his strength back.

His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej has been sitting on the throne for over six decades. He is well-loved and respected by the Thai people. Millions of Thais are now praying for his quick recovery and many showed up at the hospital to express their best wishes.

On 5th December of this year, His majesty will turn 87.
