Be ready: Sharp drop in temperature next week

China's intense high pressure system will once again blanket the north and northeast with thunder and showers during February 1-4.

Do you still have your winter clothes stuffed somewhere? It's time to bring them out again. According to the Meteorological Department, the North and Northeast will experience a very chilling temperatures between two to four degrees Celsius. Yes, a much colder week compared to what we had last week.

During that period, a northeast monsoon will intensify with more rain in the South, while wind-driven waves in the lower Gulf of Thailand are likely to be about 2 metres high. All vessels should proceed with caution, Bangkok Post reported.
