Filipino Teacher's Video Clip to be shown Internationally

It's probably a "Manic Monday" for some of us. Yeah, I heard you when you said, "4 more days until the weekend." For me however, I look forward to every single day of the weekdays as I enjoy the comfort, the fast internet, and the beauty of our new faculty building (Nangiinggit lang).

Moving on, Khun Korn probably received by now the videos I sent to his PR named Joey last week. According to Joey, Khun Korn will show a short clip of our project "English for all" in his TED Talk program. I just learned that TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks which last 18 minutes or less. It started in 1984 as a conference focusing in Technology, Entertainment, and Design, hence the name TED. Today however, TED covers almost all topics - from science to business to global issues - in more than 100 languages.

The former finance minister of Thailand is expecting a 15-second video of a one-on-one interview between a teacher and a student. But to make things a lot easier for myself, I asked the three teachers at Sapanteesam School to record a video of themselves talking to their chosen student.

Here they are...

Teacher Syrene and her K2,2 student
Teacher Francis and his P1.1 student
Teacher Goodwill and her K2.1 student

From three videos I will let Joey choose which one he thinks Khun Korn will prefer. The best video will be shown in TED Talk. May the force be with them all.
