Thais warned of temperature drop from 6 to 10 degrees

Don't ditch your winter clothes just yet. Cold season isn't over; at least for a few more days.

The Meteorological Department warned Thais particularly those residing in the North and Northeast to prepare themselves for a severe drop in temperature between 6-10 degrees Celsius starting Saturday night (tonight) until Monday.

According to the morning daily forecast of the department, the Northeast and the upper North of Thailand will be covered by the high pressure which moved down from China.

Thunderstorms and strong wind will accompany the cold spells.

Its forecast for Sunday and Monday predicted that the North would see the temperature range from 8 to 14 degrees, the Northeast from 8 to 15 degrees, the central and East from 14 to 18 and the capital Bangkok from 16 to 18 degrees, The Nation reported.

Sounds like the predicted temperatures will psych up those wishing to feel the chills.
