Cold spell to hit Northeast (Isaarn) again

OMG! Winter isn't over yet, at least in the Northeast of Thailand.

The Meteorological Department announced Sunday that Isaarn and the South China Sea will once again be covered by Monday of yet another high pressure over Southern China.

Northeast temperatures is expected to drop by between two and four degrees Celsius due to a cold spell and strong winds.

The Gulf and the South of Thailand on the other hand is expected to have strong winds and waves of about 2-3 meters high particularly from Surat Thani province downward.

People are warned to be aware of inshore surf and to take caution at all times, the department said.

All vessels should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during Feb 15 - 18, the department added.
