How to pay airline tickets at 7-Eleven if you don't have credit card/debit card

Nothing beats air travel for speed, comfort, and the exhilarating feeling it offers of the view down below. The old adage that flying is the safest way to travel still holds true today, too. However, some people cannot see themselves inside the cabin due to the idea that flying is more expensive as opposed to other modes of transpiration.

Fact of the matter is, flying out of Bangkok to, say, Chiang Mai or Phuket via Air Asia or Nok Air, won't break the bank anymore. It may not seem like it but airline tickets are relatively cheap compared before. Increased competition is one of the reasons in this trend. People are starting to fly because you can get a cheap ticket even to neighboring countries for just a little over a thousand baht.

If you decide to fly domestically in Thailand but you worry about making online purchase because you don't have a credit card/debit card, then this post is for you.

Local airlines offers various payment channel options to smooth up your travel. Even without credit or debit cards, booking online tickets is possible in Thailand. Actually, this ain't new anymore. It's been going on for quite sometime now. But for the benefit of those who are new in the Kingdom, allow me to share this to you.

Step 1: Search and select your flight

Step 2: Fill in passenger information. Select add-on services if you like to.

Step 3: Review your flight detail and select preferred payment channel

When you arrive at the page where you have to choose the payment method and you chose credit card or direct debit, you will receive instant booking confirmation.

In case of selecting other payment channels like 7-Eleven, you will receive a text message from the airline with a pay code. You have 24 hrs to go to 7-Eleven to show them the text message from the airline and pay your ticket. Otherwise, your ticket won' be confirmed.

PS: This article was a product of a post I saw at SWD Kapamilya about one of our "kababayan" asking on how to pay at 7-Eleven stores. Hope this helps.
